Thank you for choosing CPR St. Louis for your PALS Renew Certification (*if you chose to add the BLS Renew as well, please continue to read). Here’s some important information about your upcoming class.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
*Please arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled class time for Class Sign In.

Book Requirement: The American Heart Association requires that every student has the 2020 or later edition of the Pediatric Advanced Life Support book at the time of class. (*NOTE: If you added BLS Renew, you will also need the 2020 or later edition of the AHA Basic Life Support book).

If you ordered a book with us, it will be shipped as long as there is sufficient time before your class date. If there is not sufficient time for shipping, it will be waiting for you at time of class. You can also call our office to arrange a time to pick up the book, if there is not enough time for shipping.

Required Pre-Test: In order to participate in the PALS class, you must complete the PALS pre-test with a 70% or higher. See Pre-Course instructions for details.
NOTE: *No pre-course prep is required for BLS Renew.
Class Location: CPR St. Louis 63 National Way Shopping Center, Ballwin, MO 63011. **Located at 141 and Manchester in the plaza with Office Depot behind the Shell Gas Station.
Driving Directions: *Directions from I-44: Go 141 North to Meramec Station Rd, Left at stop light, then right onto Meramec Station Rd, Left into Plaza by Office Depot.
*From I-64, 40: Go 141 South, Right on Manchester Rd, Left on Old Meramec Station Rd, Left on First Street into plaza parking lot.
*From I-270: Go Manchester Rd West, Left on Old Meramec Station Rd, Left on First Street into plaza parking lot.
Class Length: Your PALS Renew Class will last around 6 hours.
What to Wear: Just wear comfortable clothing.
What to bring: Bring your PALS printed pre-test and PALS Book. *If you added BLS Renew, please bring your BLS book as well.
Certification Cards: Certification cards are issued electronically the same day by midnight.
Refunds and Rescheduling: There are NO REFUNDS for classes or books that were purchased and scheduled. You may reschedule a class, if necessary, by emailing [email protected] with that request before your scheduled class. If we do not receive a request from you prior to your class, we do not offer a refund and you may not reschedule. If you do not pass the course, we will allow you to study the materials and reschedule for a future class. We allow this as a courtesy one time only. If you are not successful on the second try, you will have to purchase the class again.
Card Recovery Costs: All American Heart Association cards are now digital. If you lose access to your card, there is a $20 recovery cost for each occurrence. However, if you purchased Card Insurance, recovering access to your card is FREE for 2 full years.
