My Mom Knows CPR™

“What Every Mom Must Know
To Keep Their Baby Safe!”

My Mom Knows CPR

Being a NEW Mom is the most exhilarating and rewarding experience that exists. However, it can also be the most scary. Being a New Mom often makes us feel vulnerable…and let’s face it – very lost at times. We don’t always know what to do. We’re learning on the fly. And that is wonderful – it’s part of the amazing New Mom experience.

But, with that said… There are certain skills that as a New Mom we do not want to leave solely to instinct. It’s our responsibility to arm ourselves with every possible advantage in order to ensure that our baby is safe. And much of that advantage comes with educating ourselves. We owe it to our baby!

Shocking Statistics That Have Sent New Moms Flocking to Baby Safety Courses

The National Vital Statistics Report published that there were 24,572 infant deaths in the United States. Of these tragedies, 5 percent were related to unintentional injuries that could have been prevented. The American Heart Association has reported that the most common leading cause of unintentional death in infants is choking.

In addition, each year an estimated 9,500 children suffer from Cardiac Arrest. We usually associate heart attacks with older adults, but as the stats indicate Cardiac Arrest occurs in children too. As you know Sudden Cardiac Arrest is a leading cause of death in the United States. Fact is that 9 out of 10 people die if they do not receive CPR. The American Heart Association reports that immediate CPR can triple chances of survival.
