5 STEPS to ONLINE AHA BLS/ACLS Provider Card
1. Sign up for the in-person Skills Test above.
2. Follow the link below (BLS or ACLS) to complete part 1 online through Heartcode AHA (an AHA certified online class).
3. After completion of online part 1, print your certification of part 1 completion.
4. At the time of the in-person Skills Test you will show your printed AHA certificate to the AHA instructor satisfying that you completed part 1.
5. Complete in-person skills test parts 2 and 3 and receive your AHA provider card.

WARNING: There are many BLS and ACLS recertification online classes. Most of which are not AHA approved. You can usually find this information on the website offering the course in the Terms and Conditions area (usually a small link at the bottom of the page) or the FAQ’s area of the website.
We strongly recommend taking the entire class in-person, as you will be sure it is AHA approved and you will get hands on instruction. In our opinion, hands on instruction is superior training compared to online simulation.
